tradition, the Carnaval was celebrated this year in Ormos.
This celebration started fifteen years ago and was immediately

Continuing the long
tradition, the Carnaval was celebrated this year in Ormos.
This celebration started fifteen years ago and was immediately
embraced by the people and visitors.
It is organised by the Korthi Carnaval Committee with the support of the Municipality of Korthi and local cultural clubs. But the biggest support comes from the people in the area who, through their participation and unique ideas, contribute in the big success.
Korthi Carnaval relies on local tradition and each year presents parodies of recent (and not only) events in a unique way, attracting thousands of visitors, who enjoy the traditional local hospitality.

The festivities reached their peak on Sunday, 12 March
2000, when the big
parade took place in Ormos.
The Korthi Carnaval Committee wishes to
