TELEVISION STATION IN ANDROS

The Municipality of Korthi in association with private individuals who specialize in communications are beginning a television station named ANDROS TILEORASI.  The station, in association with the already functioning radio station FAROS FM 95.4 will broadcast, for the time being, in the area of Korthi and Hora with the imminent prospect of spreading it’s signal throughout the rest of Andros so that the voice of Andros can be heard as far as the major cities, where, there is an enormous need to inform and propel results and answers to the major problems of our island.

            The need for communication with the citizens of Korthi and the rest of the citizens of Andros and the need to inform members of government, societies and other organizations out of the boundaries of the island are the main reasons in which the Municipality in association with private individuals started this effort.

            The purpose of this station is to create an intermunicipal television station with the participation of private individuals to insure it’s viability and it’s ability to convey ample, complete and exceptional quality programming.  The station will begin broadcasting on Friday February 27^th.
