Objectives

The Municipality of Korthi follows closely and participates in the development and use of the Renewable Energy Sources, a key alternative solution of energy production in an environmentally friendly way. Specifically in Greece, wind power contributes with an impressive increasing rate in "clean" energy production.

In this Conference, organized by the Municipality of Korthi, will participate distinguished scientists specialized in research and applications of wind power in the past as well as in present time.

Main objective of the Conference is to contribute in the interaction between Technical Experts, Researchers, Organizations and the Public, aiming to present technologies and methods of wind power use, arising problems and appropriate solutions, as well as to present adequate actions for overcoming existing obstacles and promoting widespread use of Renewable Energy Sources and especially wind power.
